xbox 360 from another country

Hey everyone,

So basically I just moved in the US from France and my xbox is French. But the power supply is different in terms of voltage ( 220V to 240V for mine) compare to here in the US (110V to 120V). So my question is if I buy a new power supply with 110V to 120V,
will it work on my xbox 360 ?

Retail game from another country

Hi Fallouter24,

There is no legal issue with actually buying games from other regions, but just be aware that some games aren't region free.

Any games from the
PAL region will work on consoles from any of those countries (although there might be some language differences).

What GoGoActionTeam is talking about is the TV encoding, which it sounds like you already know about.

And if you have a HDTV, it won't matter as they are standardised.

PSUs are designed to be used only in the countries or regions where they are sold because different regions have different power requirements. Using the power supply in a different country may damage the power supply or your Xbox 360 console, and the warranty
may be invalidated.

regarding your question you can use a power adapter converter to use your console yet I will suggest you to find one that works in China because the Asian outlet is different even from the European outlet. For further information check this useful link:

•The Xbox 360 power supply contains an internal fuse that helps protect your console from too-high voltage and power surges. However, the PSU is a sealed unit. Therefore, you cannot replace the internal fuse. The power supply is rated for of 245 watts of

You will need a new power brick for the country you are moving to.Not sure where to get one for China as it's not an xbox supported country.

Only thing i can suggest is phone support & talk to them.

Hello , the games you own for Xbox will only be able to access on your PC if they have the Playanywhere badge, other than that you would have to have an Xbox in Australia and log in with your account.

If you have Game Pass you can play the games, but the catalog may have some small difference.
