Xbox 360-Friends Portal

Just to cover all bases:

Are the portals for the Xbox One specifically, or were these portals bought for the Xbox 360 version of Skylanders or Lego Dimensions?

The Xbox 360 versions of the portals don't work on the Xbox One.

Thanks for coming to the forums. The portal may not be compatible. On the fandom wiki looks like they all need the one it is sold to example Xbox portal for Xbox. You can look

over the wiki for more information. However, have read that some are compatible with other platforms like the 3DS portal.

Portal Compatibility
The Xbox 360 portal will only work on an Xbox 360, as will a Xbox One one only work in Xbox Ones; this applies to all games. The Spyro's Adventure 3DS portal is universal and will work on any system
with that game except an Xbox 360; the Spyro's Adventure portals of other consoles can also work with the PC version of Spyro's Adventure.

If you have Xbox 360 versions of Skylanders Trap Team and Swap Force there is no way you can play them on Xbox One because they have portals for Xbox 360 and you need portals for Xbox One. Most of Skylanders games are not available for digital purchase because there is figures and portals necessary for playing game so if you don't have portal and figures you can't play game even if you download it in Store.

Unfortunately, no it doesn't. The reason for that is the Xbox 360 version's portal isn't compatible with Xbox One. You would need to purchase the Xbox One version of the game and its compatible portal. Of course, your figures will work with any version
of the game.

I try to play the coop on portal 2 with a friend up it could only pick up on one account my Xbox account so what do i need to do to get a guest account on portal 2
