XBOX 360 Freezing

    XBOX 360 Freezing


    My 5 year old XBOX 360 started freezing during COD BO2 game play about a month ago.

    Now it always freeezes on start up, usually doesn't make it past the logo screen. If it makes it past it will usually freeze in about 30 seconds.

    It will freeze w/o the HDD attached and I have cleared the cache.

    Any suggestions on how to fix this?

    Does your XBOX360 freeze?

    I faced screen freeze problem 2 or 3 times, and it was because of the faulty game discs. But there are some other reasons that make your screen freeze while playing. Overheating is a most common reason. You may have a look in this article that explains it- Xbox Freezing Solutions.

    black ops freezing

    XBOX 360 Freezing

    First steps would have been to remove the hard drive and clear the cache. If it's still happening then perhaps the console needs to be replaced/repaired.
