Xbox 360 freezing at startup

So, I've been trough a thousand threads about this issue, read and tried all the suggested solucions and nothing worked.

I'm on a xbox 360 slim s. It's relativaly new... It was working fine until I tried to turn it on today: it is now freezing at the logo, before the dashboard comes in.

I tried to turn it on holding the sync button, turn off the internet connection, hold some buttons while turning the console on (a, b, rt, etc). Nothing worked.

There's no rrod nor any red light on both the console and power brick. Is there anything ELSE I could do?

Xbox freezing and looping at startup

My xbox 360 S model is freezing and trying to update over and over at startup. I was just using it two days ago and it worked perfectly, and now today it won't boot up. I tried to turn it on and it went through the xbox logo fine, then it got to the spinning
circle and froze on that screen. So I restarted it a few times and got the same thing. Then i unplugged it for about an hour and tried again. This time it asked me to update. I said yes and it turn off the screen completely (my TV said "check signal cable",
which is what it says when nothing is connected), but the system was still on. 30 seconds or so later the system came back to the xbox logo and tried to start again, this time just going to the spinning circle and freezing again. I tried again and it asked
me to update again, this time when I clicked yes it started updating. I finished the update and it restarted and asked me to update again. Now whenever I try it, it either freezes, asks to update then freezes, completes the update and freezes, or completes
the update, or lets me into the dashboard for about 5 seconds and then freezes.

Another thing to note is when the spinning circle is there, there are a few odd pixilated squares on the screen. Not sure what to do, The update doesn't seem to be staying, is there a way to manually reset the cache, or is there anything else I can do to
fix this?

Have you tried holding the power button til the lights flash in a pattern? If so, what pattern do they flash in? The pattern should give info as to what is going on.

Also, for some more info, there's no HDD and I removed the thumb drive I was using. No disc inside also.

Well, my problem was the 4gb memory. It was corrupetd or something. The solution is simply to remove it from the console, as I found out in the internet.

Problem is, I dind't really want to do this by myself. So I've sent it to support.

It's not ready yet, so I don't know if I lost the stuff that was saved...

I think the tip here is: don't rely on the 4gb memory (this seems to be a common issue).

 

I am having this problem and it's because of the hardrive because when intake it out it doesn't freeze. HELP!
