Xbox 360 freezes wenn online

Hello Community,

I just bought Live Gold and the game Payday 2 so I could play with a friend online. When I startdt the game the xbox froze after about 5 minutes. I restarted it and the same thing happened again. When it freezes the sound stops and the xbox stpüs working
entirely so that only restarting helps. I cannot return to the start screen. I tried everything the support pages suggest. I still keeps happening. Since my xbox is 3 years old I tried opening it and cleaning it from the dust. But it still kept freezing. Then
I found out that if I disconnect the xbox from WiFi or ethernet it does not freeze, but once I reconnect it to the internet it freezes again. Please can anybody tell me what I have to do to fix it?

My gta v keeps hard freezing on the same level. Apparently an issue with older 360's according to what I read online.

If the steps above did not resolve your screen freeze problem, your console might need to be repaired.

When you start up your game, does it get frozen on a black screen? Because sounds like to me you're having an issue that I'm also dealing with...

 

No sorry. I found out that it freezes no matter what I am doing. If I do not start a game it freezes in the home screen. It alsways takes arround 2--3 minutes until it freezes.
