XBox 360-forgotten password on Fifa/batman and Driver games

I bought a second hand Xbox 360 for my son a few years ago and he went and put a password on it somewhere, that he has forgotten.

It stops him from playing games such as Fifa, Batman and Driver.

How do we get around the password or clear the password?

I asked the original owner to try and clear it online, but he says he is not able to.

We would never recommend using an Xbox with someone else's account, just so you can use their downloaded games, for this exact reason.

It maybe that your son will need to wipe the console and start over again, but he will loose access to the games (if they have been downloaded and not on disc) and will loose his game save data.

We cleared it using the Family Settings as you suggested and clearing the console as far as we could. Thank you.

We are following the steps to clear the console. It says to select the Hard Drive from the Storage Devices menu, but we have a Memory Unit not a Hard Drive, so we don't go to the Device Options from Memory Unit.

Where to from here?

I've not had to do this on a pre-hard disc Xbox 360. I'll see what I can find out or someone else on here may know the answer?
