xbox 360 ff racing wheel

    how do you recalibrate an xbox 360 racing wheel? mine is 15-30 degrees of center and will not recenter itself.

    Xbox 360 wireless racing wheel with FF

    They are discontinued unfortunately. the only real option is to scout the second hand market or find a third party adapter.

    Universal power adapters are widely available. You just need a DC 24V 1A adapter. If you search or contact your local electronics store they should be able to help you out.

    If it's the original one, what happens is the gears slip causing the wheel to drift off centre. You can't recalibrate the wheel but you can, with the right tools, take the wheel apart and re-sit the gears. If you search online you can find guides on how
    to do this.

    i looked all over for guides, searching "xbox 360 racing wheel off center", "xbox 360 racing wheel off center fix", "xbox 360 racing wheel recalibrate", "xbox 360 racing wheel calibrate", "xbox 360 racing wheel won't center".

    every search pulled up almost the exact same results and nothing i found helped me or was a guide i could follow, do you have any links or a better query?

    Hey buddy,

    I couldn't find the exact guide I used but looking at this one: it cover everything you need. just ignore all the stuff bout the rod that he's going on about. I'd watch the whole video first just to get a feel of how to take the wheel apart et. The most important bit is at 2:28 where it shows how
    to align the wheel properly.

    Unfortunately much of the video is pictures rather than actual video, however if you'd like more video on disassembling the wheel, just search for "xbox force feedback wheel mod" and you'll get more actual video. it was just the bit at 2:28 on that particular
    vid that is the most important thing your looking out for in the whole process.
