Xbox 360 fans are really loud

My old Xbox 360 (specifically the Arcade or black model) has started to have really loud fans. I'm not sure why.

It simply revs up to a kind of concerning point, but it doesn't seem to be getting any hotter. I have already opened up and cleaned the console (warranty has been long expired) but it still is pretty loud. Should I buy a replacement fan perhaps that's quieter or is there a way to fix it.

It's pretty much the fact that it's old. Fans have bearings and they will get noisy after years of use and more noisy as the years go on, there doesn't need to be any dust present. The last 360 model, the 360E came out nearly 10 years ago. These consoles aren't getting any younger.

Now I'm all after old console preservation, and you're free to do whatever you like to your cherished old 360, unfortunately self repair can't be discussed here, sorry.

Well, the box has been unplugged for over about two hours or so this morning so everything is cool as a cucumber. Plugged it into the wall socket and she powered up like a jet engine. It is well ventilated as it just sits on the TV stand and the moment
(haven't even had it long enough to put it in the entertainment center slots yet). I moved it around a bit, but the fan blows loud enough to mask the noise from the TV substantially.

The power supply doesn't feel all that warm and neither does the brick. It was a power strip, so I can give that a go.

Is the power supply warm? are you plugged into a wall outlet or a power strip? Could you try plugging into a wall outlet directly if you aren't already?

Idk but my dam consome gets hyper like it had redbull the xbox 360 starts goingcrazy like my one it start going really loud and disc or fan starts going really fast its scares me the dam thing is *** thats y i got a xbox 1
