Xbox 360 Fan Speed

Hello i m having a little problem with my xbox 360 arcade (2009) every now and than the fan gets loud for a short period 10-15 sec than goes back to normal and than again eg on Forza Motorsport 4 it does when it shows the circuit from above . Is it bad ?
Should i be worried ?

Need for Speed Rivals

Hopefully this should be good. For some reason I thought criterion were stopping racing games for a while, but hopefully with some of the criterion guys involved in this, it will still keep the burnout style magic like NFS HP did.

I was a huge fan of NFS HP on the xbox 360.

XBOX ONE FAN speed

Just curious if any other X1 owner, Has the same thing happens to them

When playing a game the fan will randomly speed up, sounds like a mini jet engine.

It will last about 5 to 10 seconds and then stop. and then it will be nice and quiet. is this normal

Hey there Player230163491!

As long as you have not noticed any issues with crashing or freezing, I would say it may be fine. If you do notice performance issues or the fan noise is louder than normal for an extended amount of time, try unplugging all cables including power, HDMI,
and any USB devices from the Xbox 360 console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Keep us posted on how the Xbox 360 behaves!

Nah it s not causing problems to be honest as the xbox is warm at the back (not hot) and i only play for max 60-90 min but i find it strange that it happens with loads of my games mostly after loading and it doesnt happen with FIFA/PES

A quick update of the situation while playing forza 4 event list the fan is running normally only on world tour does that also sniper elite III after changing area the fan spins a bit louder (like i described before) . I m using a phat xbox 360 from 2009
as i said and my concern are the red rings

Try getting a can of compressed air and clearing out the fans. Don't use a vacuum cleaner, ever, but a can of air is relatively cheap.

yeah the only issue is that here in albania is almost impossible to find but i ll check out thanks for the tip
