    Hi there, i have an Xbox 360 that failed a couple of moths ago. so, we took it apart, blowed the dust off, and put it back together. then it worked. the next time we tried it, it failed to show the Xbox controller lights and would not output any signal.

    luckly, i got a working Xbox 360 from somebody else. unfortunately, all my saved files are on the other broken Xbox 360. if you know how to get a Xbox 360 working even for an hour, please respond.

    We already did embrace the Kinect on the Xbox 360, it failed and every game for it failed and sucked.

    Mandatory xbox 360 update made my console useless

    It could be that the hard drive is failing. The Xbox is unable to read the drive, thinks that it needs an update but the update will fail because the drive itself is failing. Your 360 might be dead basically.

    Very difficult for any of us to tell you how to fix your 360 without being able to physically see it or ask you a lot of questions about it. Your best bet is likely to transfer whatever you can. When you say 'saved files', what exactly do you mean?
    Game saves? DLC? Or stuff you have imported to the drive like music?
    by saved files, i mean like Minecraft world saves and other game saves.
