Xbox 360 error

Last night I went to play NBA 2K17 like normal and while the program was loading it said that my profile was unreadable or damaged and the only option was to start completely over an overwrite my existing profile?? I chose no and it wont allow me to play
the game at all without doing this step. I seen this one other time on another game of mine but I didn't mind losing that data because I Hadn't spent any extra money on it which is not the case in this game, Ive not only spent hours playing and building my
character I have also bought VC with my CC and I don't want to loose any of this please help!!

Original Xbox 360 E74 error message- Solution

If your Xbox 360 has failed because of the E74 error, you’ll see the following message on the screen when you turn on your Original Xbox 360 console:

System Error. Contact Xbox Customer Support.
E74

If you see this error message, you must repair your console. The warranty period for the E74 error is three years from the original purchase date of the console. If the warranty period expires, you’ll have to pay for the repair.
