Hello! I'm having trouble with my Xbox 360 "Again" I'm almost to to the point of cancelling my xbox live account.. i've been a member for 6 yrs and within that time I have spent close to 50,000 dollars on Xbox 360 accessory's ie controllers games and had
have to purchase nearly 5 xbox 360's due to hardware failure and 2 thieves.. I cant play a game on my console that i have purchased numerous times. im tired of spending my money on this these games and in game content so im skeptical about buying and Xbox
one. who do i have to contact to help me with my problem or should i give up gaming on xbox and switch to a different console. does anyone "really" care about customer support anymore?

360 yes, old xbox no support. if your model said it came with internal 256 memory aka the Arcade model it should be fine but the early Arcade models had a removable 256 mb memory unit that plugged into the console. if you yours is the one without the internal
memory and no external card is missing you can always go with a USB flash drive that is at least 1 gig and can be as big as 32 gig or it is more $$$ you can get a harddrive of 20, 60, 120, or 250 gig for it instead (or on top of the flash drive).

4 gig model has no hard drive its is internal flash memory like a usb drive but built in. you can add a 250 or 320 gig hard drive to it or use external flash drives up to 32 gig but those are your only options if the internal memory is failing, which is

You're not really describing your issue. You spent 50k and still have an arcade, with no proper HDD? Either you're buying the wrong things or you need to re-evaluate your spending numbers. In any case, if you're getting errors that are relating to using
the items, make sure your licenses are transferred to your console, and/or that you're connected to Xbox Live. I will point out that some items require that you have an internal HDD, and not a thumb drive.

its an external or internal attachment you must buy depending on your model

if it is the old arcade units it an external hd (you need an offical xbox one) or the internal 250 gig hd s for the 4 gig xbox s units

Fyi fat xbox hdds sat on top of original xbox 360 they ranged from 20-250 gig they cannot be used on s units without removing the drive

Xbox 360 S had a 4 gig internal memory on non hdd Consoles with the option of adding 250gig or 320gig

Anything else on a s unit is a modification till we see bigger drives

With technology hdds capacity goes larger as gaming needs expand not smaller

The only inbetweeen is usb drives at 16 gig max each but they lack the emulation software

the new 360 known as the slim comes with either, 4 gig of internal memory or a 250 gig hard drive it will say on the box 4 or 250. if you get the 250 you get a hard drive, but if you get the 4 model you can ADD a hard drive to it either a 250 gig or a 320
gig but only the version of the hard drive made for the current slim models, the older clip on drive on the older fat 360s are not compatible with the slim models.
