Xbox 360 error code: Xbos-0x80153005 65238c8c-5f9a-4087-b285-f6d2f999e291

I got Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition (new, not pre-owned) that comes with a code for game add-on content. I tried to enter the code on my xbox but it didn't work, so I signed in xbox.com and tried it here. I entered the code and it says "RE5 gold blah blah
blah" and I click confirm and it says "something went wrong" and displays an error code. What do?

I can't redeem a credit code.

Also attempted to redeem a code and was given the following error when confirming.

no solution found yet.

 

Been nearly a week. Am I just to assume that this is something that will remain unresolved? I've seen thread on other forums about this same problem from a year or 2 ago and there's still no fix for this? What a waste.

That error code means the content may not be available any more. Could you provide the specific name of the DLC you are trying to redeem? Due to the age of that game, the code that came with it may have expired.

You can contact our chat or phone support agents through our Contact Us page and have them look up that redemption code for you to verify if your code expired or not.

the box says it contains the Versus DLC, Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape, The Mercenaries Reunion, Extra Figures (Which is free to download now anyway, not sure if it always was) and 4 New Costumes from Costume Pack 1 and Costume Pack 2.

Might have to go ask Capcom I guess. All a thread here will seem to tell you is that your code is out of date, other than that it seems like we're on our own.. will keep checking this thread now and then I guess though.

 

Ok, you are right.

i don't understand why the code is not valid anymore, as the game is still sold as gold edition with the gold content written on the box with not date of expiration. And this gold content is still sold as a dlc, so it still exist and is still can be buy.

are we supposed to buy the same thing twice ? i fell like this is a sort of scam... I don't understand that we have the proof that we buy this content officially, and we still not are able to get it.

it would be nice from Microsoft if we could have a real answer regarding this problem.
