Overheating issues?

I keep my Xbox 360 in a horizontal position and put four metal cubes underneath each of the four corners on the Xbox so that it has room to ventilate beneath and does not overheat as easy. My Xbox 360 has been operating for 3 years without issue like this, and I have never gotten any sort of error, no RROD at all.

 

very vague but make sure your xbox has room to breathe. not close to anything around it. if that's ok could try an external fan. could be clogged vents. worst of the worst your fans dead

 

Fans dying rarely happen. The Xbox 360 has two fans (At least the phat and slim do, not sure about the super slim), so both failing is unlikely. Make sure that your Xbox 360 has sufficient room, about 1-2 inches between it and any walls or obstructions.
Also, get a lint free cloth and wipe the vents to clear away any dust or debris that may be trapped. Do not use a fan because that will destroy the airflow and render the Xbox's fans useless.
