On Jan. 8, 2015 I bought a $25.00 xbox live gold card from Walgreens in Spotsylvania County Virginia. I have entered the redem code several times correctly and still says invaled code. Need help.. If I dont get a response I will email microsoft with my
receipts.

Issue Buying BC Game Directly From XB1: L4D2

So I'm having trouble buying Stick Of Truth from the XB1 store on the console. I know you're supposed to be able to click show price and then go through the steps on buying it directly from the console. However, for some strange reason when I click show price, it brings up an error and tells me something like "you are unable to buy this game from the xbox one at this time. Please buy from the xbox 360 store" then it gives an error code. I've had no issues buying other games directly from the XB1. What's going on with this one?Click to expand...

Quick question, well two really. What was the error code? Did you ask google what the error code meant?

Also, if the xbox is having status issues that can cause stupid error codes to drop. Usually though once you google the code you'll know what the issue is, and if the issue isn't related to the internet, i'd still hit up status page for xbox just to make sure.

Which i'll do before i hit post. Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage seems everything is normal right now, so hit us up with the error code, i'd try again though.

I would start by trying to activate the code on your Xbox console as well as our Code Redemption page. If the issue persists, I recommend following the steps on our Xbox
Live Code Redemption Troubleshooter. Also, check account.xbox.com and verify that your billing information is up to date and that there are no outstanding charges on the account.

If the code continues to not redeem, contact our chat or phone support agents through our Contact Us page so they can look into it!

install the Gaming Services app, Go to the Apps configuration section and do the Terminate, Repair and Restore of that app.
