    "Sorry, there's a problem with the credentials that you're using to sign in. Go to https://account.live.com to fix the problem"

    I can sign in fine to Live, and my microsoft account.

    I tried activating the 2 factor authentication, and then using an App password, still not allowing me to download.

    I can see the xbox successfully logging in on my microsoft account, under security and viewing recent log ins.

    When I intentionally enter in the wrong password on the xbox 360, it gives me a different error.

    So i know the 360 is logging into the account fine.

    Not sure what i need to do?

    It's not a child account or anything.

    Just bought this console.

    There's no other profiles on the console/ and I'm pretty sure it's updated.

    Just to verify was your account associated with a parent or child account? If yes I suggest you to follow the steps in this support link:

    support.xbox.com/.../error-code-801540A9

    It doesn't matter if it is in the xbox one section for as I see it this is an account issue.
