xbox 360 error code 80070057

No billing info missing, and no problem purchasing or redeeming anything in the past. Having the same issue. Bungie and Microsoft have indicated that they are working on finding a resolution to the issue, but it would be nice to actually play on release
day...

 

This is happening to my ward on his console; he spent two hours on the phone with MS this morning and they have assured him that he has the license (the $80 is definitely not in his account any longer, so he'd better have it) and suggested that the issue
would be resolved without any intervention on his part, literally told "it should be fixed in a few hours." Clearly it hasn't been fixed yet. He'll be done with school and soccer practice in a few hours, and I should hope it would be resolved. Obviously, he'll
try the cache fix suggested by Bungie (www.bungie.net/.../0), but if that thread is any indication it may not work and the onus to fix it shouldn't be on the consumer in any case.

So I got the error code: 80070057, my billing info and everything on my end is as it should be..

But when the error code pops up, and I press X and see the list with the content.... everything says "Free" EXCEPT The Taken King DLC, which is priced at 40$.

I've allready paid for the Legendary Edition, which says The Taken King is included, so why am I told I have to pay for that singel piece AGAIN??

REALLY hope this will be fixed ASAP, most of my friends had no issues at all and I've not been able to play all day...
