xbox 360 error code 80070057

This happens to me too. I'm switching to PSN

Yeah, same. Bought the Legendary Edt. and I can't bloody download it. Keep getting the same error, really *** off atm... I paid for the *** thing and now I want to play it! All my friends are playing the Taken King allready >.<

 

Slight workaround when the error code comes up wait a couple of seconds till the ok turns white again the click down 8 times click ok. Then it will ask you to update Payment information just enter security code for card then click ok for address then diwnlpoad
will be in active downloads

But not everything will be able to be downloaded as still having trouble with collectors edition content and will not appear in download history

 

Having the same problem. It keeps making me re download expansions 1 and 2 evem though i already have them. It will download expac 2 and when it gets to expac 1 it just stops and says it cant be downloaded. This is *** stupid. I have been playing since the

I am having issues with downloading the Taken King collectors edition. I bought the downloadable version of this from xbox. I keep getting status code 80070057. I have checked my billing information and it is correct. I have tried to redownload it but it
is still giving me the same message. What is up with this?

 

I have the same issue and have been reading about it in the bungie forum a well. apparently there is an issue for 360 with the legendary and collectors edition and neither microsoft or bungie is talking about fixing it, all they are doing is blaming each
other. go figure the stand alone download version is fine when they made it so inconvenient to find and didn't release it until today for 360

 

same issue here, i didn't even want the legendary edition, I wanted the stand alone download which was hidden in the game instead of in the marketplace today with no chance to pre-order it for 360. not only did i spend $20 more than I wanted, I got ***
since it does not even work. This needs to be fixed asap, I'm guessing it is Bungie's fault and I have had no luck talking with them

 

We bought the new Destiny game but it wont download and shows this message

 

So i found this random guy who said when the error code shows up. press the A button then press down, and repeat seven times. It popped up asking me for my card, I clicked it and it gave me all my downloads. So now it works. It didn't recharge my card. and
now everything downloaded and its letting me play with all my stuff

 

I bought the digital collectors edition, when you buy it it seems to download a small pre install, this downloaded fine. When i opened it, it says press A to begin installing, So i pressed A. It tries to connect to the account and dies with this error "80070057"
then when you press B it goes away and a second one starts loading and success and says do you want to download the two expansions, i pressed yes and it downloaded them fine and returns to the pre install screen. I just seems to die when it try's to get the
main game

 

I have a solution! when you get the error there is a secret menu under the error code. DO NOT PRESS B to go back, instead keep pressing A and down, you will hear the button select sound. keep doing this until it goes away by itself, then check your active
downloads. worked for me. i hope it works for you all.

I have been trying and keep getting the same error code(80070057)... after that it prompts me to redownload expansion pack 2!!!!

All my info is entered correctly!!!

 

Same problem here. The downloaded expansion II file is stated at the time of downloading to be 108kb. However the file that ends up in storage is only 56kb
