Xbox 360 error code: 42FC-42FE-1380-0700-C000-000E

Update required on 11/12/2014 (12/11/2014 for americans) console gets 3/4 the way through the update and then states "Can't process the update. If the problem persists, go to www.xbox.com/support." after consulting the support website and entering my error
code, no results for this problem were found if anyone knows anything i can do to change this please let me know.

I am having the same problem started today any help would be appreciated I am using xbox from Pakistan

I tried updating the xbox through usb, the update went though but when I restarted the console it asked me to update again. I went through the update file I download from xbox site SystemUpdate_17148_USB they have date stamp of 18 Nov 2014 so definitely
they are not the latest update.

 

Same problem i called they have no fix.

 

you can try this it DIDN'T WORK FOR ME BUT YOU CAN TRY. go into storage LB,RB,X,LB,RB,X

I Know This is Pretty Cliché, but I received this code 4 times while attempting to update, but I simply kept turning off my console and restarting & it went through the last time.

 

any of you guys have any luck getting the update to take I'm still trying

 

Just turn xbox off and start again update I did this twice third time loaded and updated ok........

Please give the following steps a try:

• First, clear your Xbox 360 system cache 3 times.
  
• Power cycle your Xbox 360 console.
  
• Once your console is powered on, try downloading the update again.

If you are still unable to download the update, copy the update from your computer to a USB flash drive by trying the following steps:

Note The USB flash drive must use the FAT32 file system. For information about how to format a USB flash drive, see the “Format a USB flash drive” section of Xbox 360 USB flash
drive support.

1. Plug your USB flash drive into a USB port on your computer.
2. Download the update file.
   
3. Click Save to save the console update .zip file on your computer.
4. Unzip the file. If you are using Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7, double-click the .zip file to unzip it.
   
5. Copy the contents of the .zip file to the root directory of your USB flash drive (for example, E:\). Do not copy the contents to another folder on the USB flash drive (for example, E:\Files).
   
6. Unplug the USB flash drive from your computer.
7. Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console.
8. Restart the console.
9. When the console restarts, the installation program starts automatically. Select Yes when you are prompted to update the new console software.

I had the same code come up also all I had to do was turn off console and turn it back on and everything seems to be working now!! hope it works for everyone else.
