Xbox 360 error code: 417F-0000-0080-0300-D000-0185

Hey all, The problem seems to be that whenever I try to download the most recent update, it displays the error code and asks me to check the connection, then after establishing the connection it asks me to download and I get the same error. I have seen one
other post on this error from December and I tried the two solutions there to no avail. I'm really stumped and would like to know how to proceed further.

unit or hard drive) was not found during the software update. I recommend giving the following steps a try:

1. Turn off your console.
2. Remove all console storage devices, including any USB flash drives, external hard drive, or internal hard drive from the Xbox 360 console. Learn how to remove the hard drive.
   
3. Add your primary storage device, for example, the hard drive.
4. Turn on the console.
5. Try updating the console again.
