    Xbox 360 error code: 4099-0000-0080-0300-8007-0070


    I was attempting to connect to Xbox Live to download my profile, but it wanted to update the system first. After clicking yes, it came up with this error code. After backing out, I went to check the connection settings and discovered that it was unable
    to connect to Xbox Live (it was able to connect to my router and the internet just fine). I've tried turning the router off and on, but nothing appears to be working. Please help!

    That error occurs when there is not enough storage for the update on your Xbox 360. I recommend freeing up some space on your Xbox 360 hard drive and try the update again. Visit our Copy,
    move, or delete Xbox 360 content     page for steps on how to do this.

    I attempted to delete some stuff off the hard drive, and am seeing 2 strange things: 1. Even though I deleted >2 GB of data, only about 400 MB were freed up. 2. After restarting the console, all of the data returns.
