    This error means their may be something wrong with your Xbox 360's storage device. Power off your console and follow the steps to reseat your storage device on our Add
    or remove an Xbox 360 Hard Drive     page. After you remove and plug back in your storage device, power on your Xbox 360 console and attempt the update again.

    If that does not resolve the issue, or your console does not have a storage device (i.e. 4GB Xbox 360), your console may need to be repaired. To begin that process, please visit our Online Service center.

    I wonder if I should try this update instead, which is different (the first one I tried was 12413, and this one is 16547):
