Xbox 360 error code: 1066218 This is actually a transaction number that was given

Put a Microsoft XBOX gift card for $25 into the XBOX 360. Tried using some of the points for the Madden 15 game but it keeps giving me an error code of 1066218 saying it was processing to wait. We have waited over 2 days but I keep getting the same message
and the money is not available. Help!!

@RYDAxINFERNO, this thread is pretty old. Please create a new thread detailing your problems. Remember to include any error messages and codes. The above error code is actually an Xbox 360 error code, not an Xbox One error code.

It needs to verify that you a an adult and also parental settings on xbox one don't apply to 360 games

If you look at the price you need to make a transaction to make the purchase

No code will be given

As per the requirements of xbox live 360 you either need a payment option or a 360 to make the purchase

Bear in mind your account region must reflect your actual region

And yes this is specifics to xbox 360 that's why you didn't have an issue with xbox one games with gold

They will not give you a cofe for.two reasons first it's a requirement of downloading from the Web marketplace

There is no bypass nor is it allowed

Also it's is a 0.00 dollar purchase which is still free but a transaction must take place

The reason you could not find the code is because the first 4 groups of numbers specifies regions, the final two groups specify the error code.

According to Xbox support, the error code xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-C000-0010 occurs when your system undergoes a hardware problem while downloading an update.

The only solution given says to request a repair on your system.
