I was trying to use a prepaid card for subscribing but it didn't work and gave that error message. So what does it mean?

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

Just bought 12 month prepaid code (xbox one day one edition) Cannot redeem code, keeps saying try again later. error code xbos-0x80169cf9 ?

This is pretty much the same exact code another person with the same problem posted aswell And Once you remove the silver bar over the code retailer stores wont replace itt..

I'm also having the same issue. Tried redeeming a 3-month subscription card on my 360 yesterday, but got an error message saying my account was locked. Tried again later on via My Xbox and got the 0x80169CF9 error message. Still getting the same message
now. Hopefully this all gets figured out.
