Xbox 360 Error 801540A9 When I try to download my profile

start the game then press the Menu and View buttons (the buttons either side of the Xbox button with 3 horizontal lines and 2 overlapping squares)

this should allow you to download your profile and sign in to your Xbox profile (it's the same profile for Xbox 360 and Xbox One)

I get error code 801540A9 when i try to download my xbox one profile

I'm not sure if this is related, but now when I attempt to download my profile I am prompted with a message that states "Sorry, XBL profiles can't be downloaded right now. Try again later" Error Code: 801540A9.

I'm sorry to hear this is happening. We'll be glad to assist you further with this, I do have a question I would like to clarify. Since you're attempting to play this game on the Xbox One and it's asking you to sign in to your 360 profile, do you attempt
to download a complete different profile from the one you're signed in to the Xbox one? Reason I ask this is a common thing that happens when It prompts to have you download the profile on what appears to be the '360 dashboard' on the Xbox one you just need
to re-download the profile you have/ are signed in on the Xbox One.

Now, if you're trying to sign in and it is the same account for Xbox one and the 360 and it's prompting you this error code then this troubleshooting article may help further

Ok well, thanks for the help. Its pretty odd since my password before had nothing wrong with it but after changing my password it worked.
