    Xbox 360 Elite with Wireless N networking accessory disconnecting from Xbox Live


    Hi,

    My friend has an Xbox 360 Elite, and he wanted to get internet with it. He got a Wireless N network adapter and he's really proud of that. Until he got disconnected from Xbox Live, he can get back online though, but while he is playing a game, sometimes
    he gets disconnected, it happens occasionally. I can't tell if its the network adapter or the Xbox, We couldn't test the ethernet port because there are no ethernet ports in his area. If there is a solution, please tell me

    New Internet Connection Won't Wirelessly Connect Online With Xbox

    Alright so I had to do some research, I found out your new Virgin Media Super Hub works Wireless with 802.11a,b,g,and n capable in 2.4GHz band plus wireless N in 5GHz band and the Xbox 360 Wireless G Networking Adapter you have it should work just not with
    802.11n. So I would say try upgrading your Wireless Network Adapter to the newest "Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter" and then try connecting online to Xbox Live.

    If you've connected the console to Xbox Live since October 28, 2009, then the software update should already be installed on your console. Check out our

    Is the wireless router close to your xbox? If not I suggest moving it a little closer to your xbox, that way maybe the xbox can establish a stable wifi connection with less interference from the headset. Better yet, if possible just use an ethernet connection
    between the router and the xbox.
