Xbox 360 Elite Fault

Hi,

i have an old Xbox 360 Elite and i'm having the old 3 red rings error.

i dissemble the box to clean the CPU and GPU and checked the hardware. My question here is about a transistor near the port where the HD is plugged.

The transistor has 5 pins but only 4 are connected, i tried to check on the web and it seams the 5 pins are all connected. Makes me believe that this transistor is broken the middle pin.

Mw3&Mw2 Unrecognized Disc/Open Tray

I tried all the support tips from Xbox, I don't have black ops or bf3 but i just know Mw2 and Mw3 won't recognized & its not the discs fault. I have the Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB HDD Console I bought in Jan. 2009 I'm pretty sure.

Xbox One controller

i seen some sort of adapter that allows 360 controllers to be used through the usb only other choices are the $150 elite controller or the fault prone original. pick your poison

My Xbox is also an original Elite 360.

My Xbox is also working through various updates, including the latest update.

Applied Update, Xbox still working. Why would that be? Going by your "facts", shouldn't my Xbox too be broken? Shouldn't MILLIONS of other Xboxs be broken too? Why are they not?

Analysis: Tell me EXACTLY where I ever said it was YOUR FAULT. I didn't ever say it was your fault, because it ISN'T your fault. It is Xbox's fault. It's the fault of a badly designed
HARDWARE. NOT yours, and definitely not the updates.. The fact is you would have gotten that 3 red light if there was no update, it was inevitable. The fact you received it at the same time is circumstantial,
not fact.

Mythic Sandman

All my controllers from Xbox One to X and Elite 1 & 2 still work and have no faults mechanically. Elite Series 1 my grips came off after two years of abuse. Other than that no problems.
