xbox 360 E ventilation and fan issue

hello guys i recently bought a xbox 360 E i have had for 4 months and yesterday i turned it on after 5 mins it said "xbox 360 shutting down to prevent insufficent ventilation"

i checked the console there were no signs of damage but when i turn it on i see the fan is not moving after the solid red light comes after three times it makes a big sound and turns off i start the console then it works perfect but i need to get rid off
the ventilation issue and the fan beacuse it stops whenever i turn on my console. by the way i have checked the xbox website and the methods they give dont work this issue happens every day. so if you guys can help me ill never have to go through this issue.

How far does the Xbox 360 Slim go with overheating?

I've had an Xbox 360 Slim for 3 years and no overheating problems. Make sure you store the console in an area where it gets enough ventilation and maybe open the windows in the room too. Slim uses a different and improved design compared to previous models.
It has 1 big internal fan and a good ventilation design compared to 2 smaller fans with tiny pen-punched ventilation holes from previous models.

My xbox 360 fan sounds like it scratching something Please Say?

My xbox 360 slim overheating. it was in a good ventilation?

Is your room exceptionally dusty? If not is there sufficient space around the console for it to get air?

If the answer to the second question is yes as well then you may need to send it in for a warranty repair.

Insane XVI

Its the ventilation fan inside the xbox, i had that issue, just make sure to clean the vents and also have the xbox in a well ventilated area that isnt dusty.

I just did a test playing Peggle. It did do it again, but the xbox only had a faint trace of heat. Tried taking the hard drive out and putting it back in before the test. Didn't do anything. Definitely doesn't seem to be over-heating.
