Xbox 360 E Starting Error

Hello! First off, thanks to anyone who takes the time to respond.

I was messing around on my Xbox 360 e and saw that there was an update for Xbox Live. I signed in and tried to update, which turned out to be a big mistake. I turned off the console and restarted it, trying to get it to stop trying to update, but it was too late. Every time I turn it back on now, there's a flash of a screen saying "Applying Update" with a loading bar, but then I get the following error message:

"System Update Stopped

Can't read the update from your storage device. Please reinsert it to continue the update.

If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.

Status Code: 4488 - 4497 - 2780 - 0F00 - C000 - 0034"

When I press anything on my controller (connected with wire so I know it's working), nada. There's not a prompt to back out or anything. I turned the console off and saw a red light behind the power and my heart immediately sank because I thought I was one of the lucky ones to never experience RROD. If I press the power button again, it turns off. I put my hand on the console- it doesn't feel hot.

What should I do? I'll factory reset if I **REALLY** have to, but I'd really like to avoid that if I can. Thanks!

Hello Miner,

Thanks for coming to the forums. If you have tried numerous power supply and the console will not power on, it will need to be repaired/replaced. Unfortunately, if the console is out of warranty you will need to find a reputable third party repair center.
As we do not support Xbox 360 any longer. If unable to find a repair you need to replace it. Which on the Xbox 360 E the

hard drive is removable and can be put into another for your games and saves.

Sorry to hear it. If it's possible I would recommend trying another power cable (possibly borrowing one from a friend) to see if that works or try a different wall socket (don't use a power bar).

If that doesn't work then the console may either need to be repaired or replaced.
