    Xbox 360 e slim on but no video or audio


    I was playing my xbox on say a Thursday then i take my xbox with me to a friends house to Friday and he has an HDMI splitter (i use HDMI) and when he couldn't figure out which one to plug in he just tried all of them and we had gotten it before but now it
    wouldn't output any video or audio i have tried other HDMI cables and no luck i have tried resetting my video settings taking out and placing back in the hard drive and i have even tried another tv but alas no avail.

    I feel i haven't given too much on the subject but this is all i can think of what i tried and what happened.

    XBox 360 E and component video? digital audio?

    Hi!



    I'm upgrading my Xbox original version to an Xbox 360 E version to get smaller size, quieter, etc. My system today connects to a projector with component video and my 5.1 surround audio system. I haven't received it yet but I know there is only a 2 channel
    audio cable and an HDMI jack on the system.

    Is there an optical audio cable for the 360 E?

    Is there a component video cable for the 360 E?

    Xbox 360 1st gen vs. Xbox 360 E?

    The best XBOX 360 Revision ist the Corona Version build in the older XBOX 360 Slim, not the E Version. That Mainboard was build in the last XBOX 360 Slim and the first XBOX 360 E.

    The XBOX 360 E has not all Ports like USB or the Video Ports as the older Slim Version. But the older Slim Version has the same Mainboard Base.

    HDMI / RGB Cables

    If you have a newer Slim model. I would use HDMI video cables and if you have a surround sound setup. I would suggest using the optical audio output on the Slim 360. I have been using this setup for years at least the audio setup.
    The optical audio to me seems to be the best audio option around.
