    Xbox 360 E Red Light Centre Power Button, no error code?!


    Hi there, I hope someone can help me with this problem. I have an Xbox 360 E, when I turn it on the light in the centre of the power button is green for about 8 seconds then it turns red, not flashing but solid. I have heard you can press the sync button
    and the eject tray button to get an error code, but when I do this the circle around the power button flashes green four times, not a quadrant but all green (a full circle), yet the centre of the power button remains red and the console will not switch on.
    I have tried using av/composite lead instead of HDMI with the same result, I have also tried connecting to a different TV. The power brick light starts off orange then turns green, so I assume this means it is working correctly. Does anyone know what my problem
    might be? Thanks

    I recently bought an Xbox 360 S genuine microsoft drvie from ebay but it wont work on my Xbox 360E console i get error code E 68 and no red blinking lights just a solid red light in center of power button. Any advice?

    Xbox 360 E Red Light Centre Power Button, no error code?!

    The Xbox 360 E doesn't have the quadrant lights on the front, only the solid ring. So it won't show an error code in that way. If it's not even outputting anything to the TV before it shuts down then I'm afraid it'll need to be sent in for a repair or replacement.
