Xbox 360 E disk drive

Discus and support Xbox 360 E disk drive in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have an Xbox 360 E model and i have noticed that when i open the disk drive that it sometimes closes by itself after a few seconds.     It appears to be a hardware issue and the console will need to be repaired.

    Since it isn't under warranty anymore I'll suggest you take it to a local departmental store so their repair department can fix it for you and you can take it home the same day.

    Hard drive for console e

    The current hard disk drives are for both the 360 S and the 360 E. From this link, the 320 GB HDD specifically confirms it.

    Drives for Xbox 360 S will fit Xbox 360 E models.

    Xbox 360 drives that mount on the side wouldn't work on the Xbox 360 E.

    Pleas check following page for sulotions for your disk drive:
    support.xbox.com/.../disc-drive-solution     If this doesn't work out for you you will hav e to send your xbox in for a repair like paul said, this will cost you abour 100$

    If the next xbox uses blu ray disks there will be no more need for disk changing. When the original xbox 360 launched the battle between HD DVD and Blu Ray was still going on. When HD DVD lost, Xbox discontinued that disk drive.

    As for the noise, if you install the disk to the hard drive there is no noise.
