Xbox 360 E disc problems ...

Couple hours ago i was sitting playing gta V for hours, when suddenly the unreadable disc error came. So i figured i should let my Xbox cooldown for some hours.

After that, i tried to play the game again and at the startup loading animations, i could hear a weird sound coming from the disc tray, then my whole xbox freezes.

it's doing the weird noise for other games too, but at least they don't freeze the whole console, any help would be appreciated

Forza Horizon DLC Version "Disc unreadable error"

I have the same problem but....

Xbox 360 Slim Glossy = Forza Horizon runs perfect (on this Console i buy Forza on demand)

Xbox 360 Slim Matte = Disc unreadable

Xbox 360 E (Xbox One Design) = Disc unreadable

I ´ve change the HDD from the Glossy to Matte and E but it comes "Disc unreadable".

Copy the files from Glossy to another Console do not work.

Weird noise? What's it sound like? Grinding? Does it make louder noises while the disc is spinning faster? If there's nothing in your drive aside from the disc, then I'd recommend not using your drive. The ball bearing in the mechanism your drive uses to
spin the disc may be going. This can cause friction and heat, and could cause damage to your disc, and your console.

If your console is on warranty, send it in, if not, then I'd pay Microsoft to replace your drive.

Sorry for the late response.

Very weird, i deleted a bunch of old games in my hard drive and now everything seems to be working fine, (so far), how could the hard drive affect the disc reader in any way, god i hate consoles.

Please help me.. I have xbox 360 E and Gta V, but after 20 days I have problem whit the disc 2

I even not eject it from my console, now is problem whit the disc and have one scratch, the game start to stop, can I install disc 2 or what to do? Please help

Yes, Xbox 360 E game discs should work on an Xbox 360 S, as both consoles are part of the Xbox 360 family and use the same game disc format. The Xbox 360 S is essentially the same as the original Xbox 360 console, but with a sleeker design and some minor hardware revisions.

So, you should be able to play your Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 E game disc on your Xbox 360 S without any issues, as long as the game is compatible with the Xbox 360 console.
