    Xbox 360 E 4GB - Shutdown every time I insert a DVD Game


    Hi,

    This started happening about 10 days, the console shutdowns every time I insert a game into the DVD drive even if the DVD is already inserted, when it stars booting it immediately shutdowns. Can you help me?

    Will Xbox 360S separate hard drive fit Xbox 360E slot?

    So i am buying an Xbox 360 E 4GB version and my friend has broken Xbox 360S 4GB but his 250GB hard drive is working and he is ready to give it to me. Will it support my Xbox 360E 4GB? Like can i insert it in the empty slot? are both the versions hard drive

    Dvd making console restart and disconnect me from xbox live Reply ASAP!!

    so i pop in a random movie play it then xbox notifications pop up saying disconnected from xbox live and please re insert memory unit. ok i have the xbox 360 slim 4gb iv had it for about a year now and i also have two 8gb memory units. so is this a glitch
    from not playing dvds little to none? ok i start up a dvd and this happens random not every time. i start up a dvd then those notifications come up that i mentioned but then when this does happen i just statt dvd a 2nd time and it plays just fine is my dvd
    drive going out?? should i not watch dvd on my xbox to prevent further problems oh and this problem happens always random and its done it two or three times but i put a dvd in and it didnt happen it didnt act up sooo maybe system glitcrwh or my xbox dusty,
    please i need an answer ASAP

    I was able to launch a game after moving some files to an USB drive and having free space in the main drive, but today is not working, same behaviour. Thanks

    Hey, CarlitosSoto06! I see your console shuts off when it tries to read a game disc. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on.

    Is it only when you do game discs, or does it happen when you put in DVDs, too?

    Is your console located in an entertainment center? If it is, it that closed off to air (does if have glass doors that close)? The console might be getting overheated and I want to make sure that the console can breathe properly.

    Let me know what's going on and we'll go from there.

    360 immulator for xbox one release date??

    Thats what 360 games are, dual layer dvd's.

    Normal dvd holds around 4GB, dual layer (like 360 game) around 8GB.

    A single layer DVD holds a little over 4gb. The dual-layer DVDs used for 360 games are around 8gb.

    I just read that the xbox 360 E 4GB indeed has no hard drive but a flash memory. So I think you are right
    It's the same as the S model. If you get the 4GB version, then that 4GB is internal memory that you can not remove. Any model though (including the 4GB) has a slot where you can add a hard drive, and of course the 250GB models (or any besides the 4GB) will
    already have a removable hard drive inserted there.

    The old "arcade" models worked basically the same way too except they only came with 512MB of internal storage (IIRC).
