    Xbox 360 dropping wireless signal during gaming/streaming Netflix


    My Xbox 360 (500GB) with internal wireless adapter drops my wireless signal every time I am using Live. For example, if I am streaming a show on Netflix, mid-episode it says I have to be signed in to Xbox Live in order to use Netflix. I go through the system
    menu to try and find my wireless signal, but there is no longer an option to connect to my internet. The only way I am able to connect to Live again is the restart my console, but the signal drops after a while again. I am not using any Third Party headsets
    or anything, and all of my other devices, phone, computer, etc. have a wireless signal. This is an annoyance that I would really like to get fixed, considering I bought the Xbox brand new under a month ago. The issue has been happening ever since I purchased
    it.

    Xbox Live keeps disconnecting

    Hello All,

    I have a Xbox 360 S, connected to WiFi with a good signal. When I use the internet, for example streaming from Netflix I get disconnected randomly. When I go back to the Dashboard and re-open Netflix I can keep streaming.

    Make sure you have a stable and secure internet connection when downloading or streaming live tv from your xbox as if it cuts out, so does your signal. Try using an ethernet cable instead of wireless as it normally gives a better and more constant signal
    without the risk of it dropping out.

    "Network Quality Problems" message

    One of the basic things to do is update the xbox app, make sure no one else is streaming music or Netflix during playtime, try another Ethernet cable and/or try it wireless. And or have the xbox wired in.

    Please reply back if these. Steps don't work.

    Being disconnected.

    Are you able to take the Xbox to another room and try it? If not it could also be that there is interference between the Xbox and Routers wireless signal that will cause the drop of signal and disconnects.

    Xbox One fitness Insufficient Bandwith RipOff

    If your wireless signal isn't strong enough then plugging in an ethernet cord is probably the only solution. It's not that you can't use the app over a wireless connection, it's that YOUR wireless connection between your router and Xbox isn't strong enough.
    I'm sure the fitness app uses more bandwidth than Netflix since it's doing more than just streaming. Personally I would never run a console on a wireless connection if I could help it.
