    Hello while i was playing my xbox 360 controller d pad got out off its place and when i try to stick it in i just falls of again is there a way to fix it ? I really would appreciate some help here.

    Hi there,

    my Xbox 360 Controller in Chrome Silver have a broken "transforming dpad"! Is it possible to get a new dpad.

    With that part i can fix the Controller by myself.

    Xbox One and Xbox 360 controller comparison?

    i think i prefer the 360 pad but the Xbox one is good too.

    the Dpad is an upgrade over the 360 sure but i mean really. lol. Is that so hard?

    The dpad still sucks to me. Too clicky and stiff. The Super Nintendo Dpad takes a dump on it.

    But besides that complaint is a great pad.

    Sorry to hear it. If the D-Pad has fallen off the controller then you'll need to purchase a new controller for your console.

    Right stick when pressed does not register. Although my controller is out of warranty is there any fixes I could try?

    Pretty sure its the series s controller with the full dpad instead of the classic xbox one version. It is out of warranty

    I agree with the OP about the quality of the DPad. It is probably the worst thing to happen to the controller next to the shoulder buttons. I hope they either allow for backwards comparability for xbox 360 controllers, make 360 controllers with xbox one
    internal components, or my preference rework the dpad and shoulder buttons on the xbox one controller and rerelease it in the near future.

    OutboundTuna73 to get the best support you would really be best off creating your own thread.

    however just a couple of things to check.

    The hdmi lead is in the output hdmi port on the xbox and not the input ? trust me this is easily done

    Try this blind guide into the settings that I usually give to people who have changed the output resolution but I can't guarantee it will work for you.

    Power the xbox on and the controller on but DO NOT touch any buttons or the dpad or thumbsticks.

    Using the dpad only make the following movements and button presses

    press the menu button on the controller

    down twice on the dpad

    press A

    right three times on the dpad

    down once on the dpad

    press A

    press A

    down once on the dpad

    press A

    Let me know how that goes for you..
