    Xbox 360 downloading games and the cloud


    I heard that xbox one will have unlimited cloud storage. Will this extend to all xbox live gold members as well? This would be a great perk and is a nice incentive for renewing my gold membership. It would also allow me to purchase more games. My hard drive
    is full. Is there anyway I can get more cloud storage? I currently purchased Max Payne 3, but cannot play the whole game because I don't have enough space to download the rest of it. The game was 8 GB I had no idea that I would be required to download another
    5 GB. I do not want to delete my other games cuz they are also 7-8 GB and took a whole day to download. I also still enjoy playing them. Is there another solution besides deleting my other games? That is really inconvenient to do. I would really appreciate
    some help thank you in advance.

    Xbox360 Power Supply

    The Xbox 360 power supply will stay on if you have save games stored in the cloud and if you are downloading anything prior to turning off the console.

    If you don't use cloud saves and aren't downloading, do you have anything connected by USB outside of your controller like a USB flash drive or external HDD?

    If you unplug all your USB connected devices like the controller, does the power supply turn off?

    Well no that is your only solution

    Cloud storage isn't meant for game storage

    One drive is for media not game storage

    Games still require you to install locally

    Well you could get yourself a few 32GB USB flash drives. You can then use them to install a few games too. Bear in mind that you can only have 2 USB flash drives installed at any one time. More info on using USB flash drives for your Xbox 360 here

    Xbox 360 to cloud transfer

    Hi,

    You can transfer your save games to the cloud to use on another 360 or an Xbox One, but you can't transfer whole games.

    The reason being that your digital purchases are already in the cloud, ready to download again on a 360 or download the BC version to an Xbox One console.

    Yes enable cloud saving.

    From the xbox 360 go to system, storage, hard drive, games and apps, and then select the file you wish to utilize.

    Then select copy and then cloud saved games and it will begin cloud backup.

    Once you start the 360 title on Xbox one the cloud saved files should begin to download automatically.

    You could also use a usb stick to transfer stuff. But as far as downloaded games, when you get your new console and set your gamertag up on it then you can view your download history and re-download any games. Whatever games you downloaded under your gamertag
    will be available to download again. May have to do a license transfer.

    As far as game saves and such I would just use a usb stick or you could save them using the cloud storage available on your console.

    To get a 360 worlds on xbox one you need to go on your xbox 360 and upload your maps to the cloud and then you can download them again of the cloud onto your xbox
