xbox 360 DLC won't download

i purchased the "additional BGM: PQ pack" for Persona 4 Arena: Ultimax and every time i try to download it, it stays at 0% and sometimes will jump to 1% but then goes right back to 0%, then eventually will say "cant download." i have searched forums already and tried using different networks, using a mobile hotspot, checking for corrupt files with the warning sign and finding nothing. i have plenty of space on the hard drive to download stuff so that cannot be the issue as well. ive been trying to get this to work for months and nothing will get it to work, i dont want my money to go to waste, so any ideas on what to do?

You are able to download the DLC on Xbox One, but it won't work since the DLC is for the 360. For example, you can't buy a game for PS3 and expect it to work on the PS4.

Hi there rottenpumpkin welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. You could try the following!

Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.

Select Storage or Memory.

Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)

Select Clear System Cache.

When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.

DLC won't transfer, anything that's for the Xbox 360 is exclusively for the Xbox 360. The Xbox One version of the game will come with it's own separate preorder code for China Rising DLC.

A cool feature that the xbox live marketplace is to allocate server space for ALL the original xbox DLC that is for games that is compatible backwards compatible, and DLC that is from all xbox titles that are free, but I guess some paid DLC can be included.

So here is the story. When you go to the marketplace, you won't be able to find the original xbox DLC, which is normal, because that isn't how it is unlocked or downloaded. To download it, simply insert the disc, and I believe that the 360 looks through the
internet and finds the backwards compatibility file, so along with that, it also downloads all the DLC there is for that specific game.

Now that would be a cool feature.

Before I continue, couldn't you even run original xbox games on a 360 slim? And am I right about how an original xbox game is run on the 360? I remember for people who don't have internet connection to their 360's, they had to download some file and put it
on a blank disc, insert that disc to the 360 and move the file to the 360 hard drive, and that is how the original xbox game can be played on the 360.
