Xbox 360 DLC on Xbox One and not seeing Microsoft Account Balance

Have a few questions here so I apologize if I've been an idiot and missed something, but when trying to play Sacred 3 on the One I attempted to buy the DLC through the game and was only able to purchase one and the rest appear marked as "Part of Bundle"
yet the store doesn't list any bundles, either one the One or on a PC on Xbox.com. Do I have to purchase them on the 360 first and then download on the One?

Also my Microsoft Account no longer comes up every time when I want to pay for things. Or is this a matter of Backward Compatibility not being able to use the 360 store? It worked once and then nothing since. I actually had to spend real money for game DLC
(GASP). Not a big deal, a whole $3.00, but the principal is the same.

I know that Back Compat isn't perfect but a small note to let us know about these things would be nice.

Thank you in advance - Chain

    :)

    Probably a stupid question

If you are purchasing Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One you have to use a credit card or Paypal. You cannot use a pre-existing balance on your Microsoft account. If you want to use that balance, then you need to purchase it on the Xbox 360 first.

How can I equip a gift card amount on the Xbox store ?

You can't use a Microsoft account balance to purchase backwards compatible titles through the Xbox One or xbox.com. You have to purchase them on a Xbox 360 console using this balance.

Hi, you have to get the add-ons either purchasing them from an actual xbox 360 or from the xbox 360 store on xbox.com. You cannot purchase them in game on the xbox one.

  6. Hey, Chain! In addition to what Stuart pointed out about how to purchase 360 items, currency is not something you can use on the website for 360 content. You will need to use a credit/debit card to be able to do that. If you still have your 360, you will
be able to use currency on the console.

Hopefully that gets everything all cleared up for you! Xbox 360 DLC on Xbox One and not seeing Microsoft Account Balance :D

Can’t buy backwards compatible game using account balance

    Hi there

This is due to the Microsoft balance (Microsoft store and Xbox one) and Xbox balance (which was used for 360 store) are 2 different systems in place that is why you cannot use Microsoft account balance to purchase the game. But if you had a gift card and
redeemed it on the Xbox 360 console you would be allowed to use it on the 360 store.

cannot buy anything from the microsoft store even though i have money.

Yes, you can make the purchase on a 360. The One store has just mever been updated to see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 or original Xbox content.
