Xbox 360 discs no longer work on Xbox One X

OK, I've seen this topic a bunch on the forums, but since I don't see any solutions and since it says I can't ask or call anyone I guess I'll post here. My xbox 360 games no longer play on Xbox One X, but just the discs, the digital versions all work just
fine. Xbox one game discs work as well as Blu-ray discs, so it's not the disc drive since it will play anything else but 360 discs. And yes, I did check the list of backwards compatible games, one of the games that no longer works is one that I used to play
on this same console and now says I need to insert the disc to play it... with the disc sitting in the tray. Could it be the disc? Maybe, but then I tried 15 other 360 games that also worked before and not a single one works now. Here is what I've tried thus
far:

Restarting the console

Power cycling the console... quite a few times

Uninstalling all 360 games

Reseting the console, but kept games and apps

Cleared Blu-Ray persistant storage

Cleared 360 Cache

Changed power management settings

Checked for updates

Checked my network connection(Fully connected with no issues)

Checked the Xbox Server Status(green dots down the board)

Changed DNS settings... twice.

Changed the orientation of the console

None of these things have worked at all. I put the disc in and I can hear it trying to read it for a small bit, then it just stops and acts like nothing is happening. I used to have Halo 4 installed, but when I try to play that game now WITH THE DISC IN,
it would prompt me to insert the disc. I've looked on a bunch of forums here on Microsofts site and I still can't see any solutions. I've seen several where a moderator says "This was solved in a different thread" and it's closed down with no link to what
that solution was. Anyone got ideas or did my xbox spontaneously just decide not to mess with 360 games?

No its fisics disc ,the digital games of 360 works ,but when i put my xbox 360 disc doesnt work doesnt read ,in my xbox one x

Hi,

You've said you've tried blu-ray discs and Xbox One discs but have you tried DVD discs?

Xbox 360 games are on DVD and my guess is that DVD won't play either.

The reason why they won't play is that DVD diode for reading these discs has failed. Other discs work because that laser diode is still working.

Try a DVD disc. If it does not work you'll need a repair.

Sorry about your problem there. I take it that normal DVD's won't play now either? If the answer to that is yes, then I'm afraid your console's Optical drive has a fault.

There are two lasers in the Xbox One. The red laser is for DVD's and Xbox 360 game discs (360 games are on DVD) and a Blue laser for Blu-ray discs (Xbox One games are on BD discs).

Unfortunately Microsoft no longer repairs the original Xbox One. Only the Xbox One S and One X can still be repaired. You'll need a new console if you want to play BC games on disc.

i have reason to believe that since i updated that copy for a xbox one the xbox no longer recognises it

That won't be the reason for the disc no longer being recognised on the Xbox 360 console. This is because not only can the Xbox One not write data to discs, the discs themselves are Ready Only anyway.

When you insert BC 360 game into an Xbox One, the disc is checked that it can be read and detects what the game is. Then your Xbox One downloads a digital version of the game repackaged for the Xbox One from Xbox Live. This game is downloaded to your Xbox
One hard drive. The disc is only used to verify you own the game.

I take it your other 360 games work on yours and your friends 360 consoles? You'll need to either get another copy of the game or buy the digital download version instead.
