Xbox 360 disconnects me when doing update for a game

the screen goes black then it takes me back to the dashboard and signs me back into xbox live it wont let me update my game or anything someone please help me!

Gamer profile login

I loaded the game disc, did the download and update, but when I go to actually play my 360 game on the One, it disconnects from Xbox live and will not connect to a gamer profile to save progress on.

Is this the way backwards compatibility works or am I doing something incorrectly?

GTA V problems

im having problems with my gta v on Xbox 360. i have the disc version of the game. when i start the game it immediately disconnects me from Xbox live even after doing the updates. When you try to reconnect it says there is no internet connection. when you
go back to the dashboard it reconnects you to back to Xbox live. i thought it was the disc and bought another one, new this time and still didn't work pls help.

 

Hello there make sure the disk is clean make sure there is no finger prints on the disk, Clean it with a dry cloth, If that don't work try to clear your Xbox 360 system cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.

1. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller. (It doesn't matter which storage device you select; the cache will be cleared for all storage devices.)
   
2. Select Clear System Cache.

1. When prompted to confirm storage device maintenance, select Yes.
