Xbox 360 disconnects from XBL on regular basis

For a while now I have been experiencing network issues on my Xbox 360 console. It will disconnect on a regular basis and the connection quality to the party chat is always poor (lag and keeps disconnecting/reconnecting automatically). It usually lets me
reconnect right after but it is a real nuisance to get kicked from games and party chat.

I have been all of the troubleshooting I could find which unfortunately hasn't helped. So far I have tried (in this order):

• Updated console (had to use a flash drive, oddly enough would hang and then got error code when trying to download it from system, I do not recall which one)
  
• Hard reset
• Trying both wireless and wired configurations (tried moving to other wired ports on router and replacing cable)
  
• Rebooting my modem and router (several times)
• Verified I had a good connection speed and quality
• Checking ports on my router (nothing is blocked)
• Clearing cache
• Removing/re-inseting the hard drive
• Factory reset/wiped hard drive clean of all data
• Re-downloading my gamertag

I do not have any similar connection issues on my PC, Xbox One, PS4 etc regardless of connection type. I'm starting to think that it is the console itself but I'd hope there would be more troubleshooting I could try before having to repair/replace the unit.

I have noticed that on my 360 I seem to get disconnected a lot from XBL but on the xbox one I never have that problem

 

Having to be present

What's worse is Xbox 360. When there's an update on 360, your console abruptly disconnects you from XBL, abruptly disconnects you from your XBL Party with your friends, then takes 10 hours to complete, lol just kidding. Like Internet Expert said, Xbox 1
has instant on, where your console does updates automatically in the background.

 

Hi, in the troubleshooting, I do not see if you have tried to connect other way, preferably that do not have firewall restrictions, for example using 4G mobile connections, maybe you can test before having to repair/replace the unit.
