XBox 360 Disconnection Xbox Live

Im 59, and have several health issues / problems, for which I use XBox 360 as a form of therapy. Recently, I am unable to play online because of continued and repetitive disconnection. The only game I play is Infection on MW3.

When I turn my XBox 360 on it connects straight away, no problems or issues, while I'm at the "Homepage".

I can watch Netflix or UTube and all is good, I never get disconnected. As soon as I go to play the game online, I get disconnected and have no idea what the problem is, and am unable to play.

I have deleted and re-downloaded my profile several times. I have emptied the cache several times, and the following figures are from my Network ...

Latency 39ms, Packet Loss 0, Upload Speed 0.51mbps, Download Speed 3.41mbps, Signal 100%, WiFi 5mbps,

Im from Canada, and use Shaw as a service provider.

Backwards compatibility question

Hi, so I downloaded NBA Jam Fire Edition on my Xbox One. So I launched it and it said disconnected from Xbox Live using the 360 titles, then when I was in the game I tried to sign into my Xbox Live it showed the 360 login screen which I selected to sign in and said sorry this profile can't connect to the Xbox live on this console. Now I just wondering if you are able to sign in for the backwards compatible games or its just you as a continue without save thing. Sorry just was able to find an answers for this. Thanks for any help!

 

Strange disconnections of service involving error 8015190E

as for my issue i am having disconnection issuses after a xbox live update as i just entered the xbox live beta preview update program update i just had

every game i start up its signing me out of live and when i exit game signs me out of live

i try sign in tells me to add security email password i do that i get error code n stops me from connecting bk plus im having party disconnection issues i have xbox 360 slim

Try to reset your network settings to factory defaults that could be the problem:

Xbox Dashboard > Settings > System > Network Settings > (Select your Network) > Configure Network > Additional Settings > Restore to Factory Defaults

WARNING: This is reset all data on the Xbox about the router/modem therefore, if the router/modem has a password, the Xbox 360 will forget the password meaning you will have to reconnect to the router/modem
and you may have to enter the password

Hi Devon, thank you for your suggestion it is appreciated. I did try it, with no luck, although I was able to connect to the game briefly (10 secs) before getting disconnected again. Could it be the game itself? As in my Disc?

I wouldn't expect the issue to be your disc as this is a networking issue, try and contact Microsoft and see if they have a solution. Just click

Well I did contact support and after running a few tests .... he suggested it wasnt XBox Live, but Activision InGame Servers... whatever the hell that is! lol
