    Xbox 360 repair???

    Hi our disc tray will not close fully or open at all. Is there any repair outlets in or around, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire???

    Fallout NV is driving my crazy

    Here's my solution if you haven't yet.

    -Remove Fallout New Vegas disc from Xbox 360 tray

    -Place Fallout 3 disc in Xbox 360 tray

    -Success

    My disc tray won't open; have tried many things...

    Seems like to me the disc tray is stuck or the button has malfunctioned. There is a way to eject the tray in case you get a disc stuck in the system. Here is the links below on how to do it.

    If you have an Xbox 360E or 360S, your best bet is to use
    http://myservice.xbox.com     to get a repair set up. However, if it is the original Xbox 360, as of June 1, 2015, Xbox Support have discontinued support, repairs, and exchanges as well as the distribution of accessories.

    If I had to guess, I would say both of your 360's need to be fixed. I have had disc tray problems with 3 separate xbox 360's, each one was a disc tray issue similar to what you describe. Some games took a long time to work, others didn't want to work at
    all, sometimes I would have to open and close my disc tray dozens of times to get a game to work.

    The reason it doesn't work is because something is broken inside of your disc tray, or something that deals with your disc tray functionality.

    Like I said, this is just a guess.

    OPEN TRAY ERROR. Keep denying it if you wish the dashboard update caused it.
