    Xbox 360 disc error, possible solution will it work? Need help


    I recently purchased AC Black Flag. Disc error after playing for sometime, tried installing won't install. Got the disc replaced same problem. All other game disc playing fine, also both the AC disk work at vendors Xbox as well as at my friends place gets
    installed also.

    I was wondering if I login to my live profile on other console where ac disk work, install it on flash drive. Then I play using the drive on my console(as I think that once the game is installed the disk usage is minimum). Will it work

    It sounds like you might have a faulty drive or a faulty disc. Have you tried another disc?

    EDIT: Disregard my last line as it sounds more like the update has caused this bug in some X1's and you've just been really unlucky with timing. No doubt MS will fix it soon.

    Sorry to hear about the issues. Unfortunately, if your disc is scratched and your console will not read the discs, you will likely need to replace the disc. If your disc is fine and your console is not reading the disc, take a peek at the
    disc error troubleshooting guide and follow the steps provided there. If you are using an Xbox 360 console, you'll want to look at the

    No. Disc installs are tied to the console they are installed on. So once you bring the install to your console, it won't work.
