XBox 360 digital games I purchased don't show game icons in "My Games" when ...

I know this question has come up in the past, but I wonder if there is a fix for this issue now. I haven't found a good answer or a solution for this issue, so I'd like to pose the question:

Why don't the game icons show for all my digitally-purchased games for my XBox 360 Slim 250gb fully-updated console, when my console is OFFLINE?

I bought all these games directly from the XBL Store, the game icons show when I'm connected to XBL, but when I'm not connected, the icons are all replaced by gray boxes with no artwork at all.

I'm a Silver member now, was Gold for a few years until earlier this year.

Is there a good reason for this situation, or is it just there to punish people who are offline? My PS3, PS4, and Vita all show game icons if I take them offline, why can't the 360 do the same? I'm a huge 360 fan, don't get me wrong, the 360 is probably
my favorite from the last generation (barely), and I LOVE the controller. I also love the games for 360, and I bought multiple backup 360 systems just in case my main Slim 250gb goes down.

If anyone has a fix for this problem, I'd really appreciate it.

Digitally downloaded game not showing up in games & apps on new xbox one.

All of my 20 something purchased digital game copies do show up on my X One X,But they won't start& get the error for needing disc or not purchased.

See the individual add-ons that you’ve purchased for a game

When you purchase add-ons for a game that you own, a controller icon will appear on the game tile in
My games and apps.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to return to the Home screen. Or, say “Xbox, go home.”

Select My games and apps.

Highlight the game that shows a controller icon in the top left, then press the
Menu button.

Select Show all add-ons.

Icons of digital games need the online connection because they are often updated, that is the only reason

I don't think that is the answer. When I browse the online Microsoft Store for digital games, the icons that appear there are the same ones that display on in the "My Games" library of my XBox 360. They don't change in either place once the game or DLC
is released, as far as I've ever seen. And they are small, Serious Sam 3: BFE icon is only 76k on the Microsoft Store (online), probably the same or less for the 360 itself.

It seems like removing the icons from my personal game library, when my 360 is offline, is a kind of "punishment" for not being online. As another person put it, its like they are selling me a book, but first tearing off the cover of the book first before
handing it over (i.e., I don't own the "cover"). I don't like this policy at all.

If you own the older Xbox One edition, it might be that the MS icon shows as the game is no longer available for purchase digitally - de-listed content usually has their icons replaced with placeholders.

Xbox had several promotions regarding Minecraft on Xbox 360 and getting the digital copy for Xbox One if you purchased it on Xbox 360 if you purchased your game digitally during this game promotional. The game should show up in your ready to install games
on Xbox One

If you just transitioned from a Xbox 360 to a Xbox One, be aware that not all Xbox 360 games are backwards compatible. So not all your digitally purchased Xbox 360 games will show up.

Usually, you will find your games by pressing the Xbox button, then go down to "My Games and Apps", then show all games, and under Games, go right to the games selection, and press "RB" to go to the "Ready to install" tab. There should be all your digitally
purchased games that work on your Xbox One.

As for World of Tanks:

You will have to download the Xbox One Version of WoT from the Xbox One store, and then sign into your account there.

I don't know if progress from the Xbox 360 version of WoT will transfer to the Xbox One version. You will have to ask the Wargaming support about that.

ONLY digitally purchased movies, TV shows, and music will transfer to the Xbox One. Xbox 360 games both digital and physical will NOT transfer over.
