Xbox 360 died after Early Update Preview

I registered for the early update preview and once complete, the Xbox 360 shut off and will not come back on. I have tried to get in contact with someone multiple times this past week about this issue. I have tried all of the troubleshooting solutions that
are posted and nothing works, the console will not come on. I would like to have this problem resolved as soon as possible.

So you have been having issues with the console since the middle of June? Have you tried to replace the console at any point in time? If you were having trouble with the console right out of the box, it would be pretty hard to say it was the update's fault.
It might just be a faulty unit.

If you want to try clearing the update and re-installing it, follow these steps: download the

update software, insert your storage device, open up Memory under System Settings, highlight the HDD, press "Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X, Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X", select OK and let the console restart. When it comes back up, it should start updating.

right after getting my xbox on fathers day the machine did not want to play out of the box I put it down to a bad game as it played kinect adventures...so returned the game to the shop and got another...and again did not play it.....so took it back thinking
its a bad batch from that shop.....got same game from another retailer and bingo it worked however some of the other games i bought did not work after the updated came up with disk unreadable....got fable 2 and fable 3 and fable 3 was not recognised as a disk....took
disk out and put it back in and it said it was a media disk.....then it was an unsupported media...was confused..so instead just took it back and downloaded them both....few days ago my wonderful wife got me forza 3 and guess what......1, it failed to install,
disk 2 could not install all the updates on the disk...and when i reached the first world championship most of the track was missing and then it crashed.....so took the machine back to the store and got a new one..I did not update it at all and tried the games
that did not work and they work perfect...so....was it the machine itself or was it the update? i am not willing to do the update just incase it is that.....and if it is that....then MS should come up with a different Anti piracy measure as it does stop genuine
games running on the machines......you dont get this sort of trouble with Playstation which i also own....had it for years now and not had any problems with it at all.....I just hope that the XBOX would do the same....now has anyone else had troubles like
this from the new systems out of the box....would interesting to know

 

Will not come on? What colour is your power supply light? Does your console give any errors? What kind of console do you have?

 

The light on the power cord brick is green… The system will not come on. Do you work for Xbox or are you just a member of the Xbox community???
