Xbox 360 did not give me gold

Discus and support Xbox 360 did not give me gold in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I was getting a new 1 year Xbox live gold code into my xbox360 account, but then an error message came up.     Xbox 360 did not give me gold


    So I was getting a new 1 year Xbox live gold code into my xbox360 account, but then an error message came up. As most people would I just ignored it and tried again. Only to find that it sayed the code was already used. So I checked if I still got the
    gold. But I didn't. My xbox360 account is Williamwolf199.

    Services and subscriptions

    If not, you may need to
    contact support     for further possible solutions. They would be able to look through your account, and check on the code you attempted to use.

    So the weird thing was I waited a while to post this thinking it would fix itself but it didnt..... But AFTER I posted it did. But I'm just glad it somehow worked out. I'm sorry if it felt like a waste of time I was worried because I got the gold as a
    cxmas gift but I was grounded so I couldn't use it. Then when I saw that error I was extremely confused.

    Gold is needed to save to the cloud on 360, I used a 7 day trial on my second 360 account and it did not give me the option to save to the cloud only the HDD.

    xbox did give me the message the my gold is expiring next month but i don't think that should affect me buying games
