    I got an xbox 360 controller mainly to use for my pc. I hooked itvto c the. Pc and it works fine . I then tried to use it on my xbox360 . When I plug it in the light flashes once then turns off . After that I cannot get it to start. Anyone have any ideas
    on what can be wrong. It's just bugging the he'll put of me.

    weird, my 360 controller doesn't work in my 360 console anymore, ive only had it for like 2 years. I bought a ONE controller and i works fine in my PC. Kinda *** i had to do that.

    Hey guys, I'm doing a project which includes editing videos for NCAA 14. Which means, i had to purchase a 360 and NCAA 14.

    The problem is, Im plugging in the Xbox 360 WIRED controller in the following ports listed below and NOTHING is working.

    Player 1, Player 2, 2 inputs in the back of the Xbox 360 E.

    But strangely, when i plug in the Xbox 360 WIRED controller into any of those inputs, i can turn the Xbox 360 E console ON. But that's all it does.

    Btw, the Xbox 360 WIRED controller works with my PC just fine. I just bought the controller today and works fine with the PC and can power the Xbox 360 Console E on.

    weird, my 360 controller doesn't work in my 360 console anymore, ive only had it for like 2 years. I bought a ONE controller and i works fine in my PC. Kinda *** i had to do that.

    Yeah controller works fine on the console, I also did an update on the controller and it still doesn't connect to my PC.

    Same here.

    Works fine on Xbox One and PC, doesn't work on 360. I own a lot of digital 360 games and can't play any of them because of this.

    the answer is it is a wireless controller they dont work with the usb charging cable ive tried it on windows 7 and 10 you need a proper wired controller apparently.
    That's true for 360 controllers, but not Xbox One. The Xbox One controllers work wired and via wireless on PC. My wiress controllers all work fine via the micro USB cable on my PC.

    Windows 7 doesn't come with drivers built in to the OS though, they may need need to be downloaded manually if Windows update isn't picking up the controller.

    Nano, I'm sorry but I have to agree with everyone else. Any Xbox 360 Official Controller from any Console will work with any other Xbox 360 Console from any year. This is what makes Consoles a Console. It's in the name, that what
    a Console is.

    I have a Launch Xbox 360 White Wireless Controller and it works perfectly fine with my current Xbox 360 S Halo Reach LE Console. Sorry but you're over analyzing the entire Console "thing". It's not a PC with different Specs for different Versions of a Build.
