    Xbox 360 controller wont work on Windows 10


    I am trying to get my Xbox controller (came with Xbox and I have it hooked up to the PC with the charging cable) to work on my Windows 10 pc so I can play F4 but I keep getting an error message that says USB device not recognized. The last USB device you
    connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it.

    Any thoughts?

    Before updating to Windows 10, my computer was on Windows 7 and I was able to check the battery status of my xbox 360 wireless controller by touching the guide button, but it does not work in windows 10. ¿There is any way to check de battery status

    box to turn on / off keyboard and mouse emulation.

    I would like to use Windows 10 and the Xbox App to play games on the big screen TV. I have a home theater PC connected to the tv.

    The Xbox 360 controller works on PC with Xbox App. The keyboard and headphones do not.

    It would be most useful to have full windows support for the Xbox 360 controller keyboard.

    I could browse the internet using 360 keyboard and Cortana with headset microphone.

    I would like to type in Wordpad, and Edge web browser.

    Full mouse and key board support.

    Sell 360 pc controller dongle again, or verify if the new dongle stick works with 360 controller keyboard.

    Support wired and wireless again in Windows 10.

    I am having the same problem, and have not found a single answer. I've been looking for hours and I'm getting kind of peeved.

    My controller won't automatically install either. I have windows 10 up to date and the xbox 360 works with the xbox. Anyone help?

    Are you sure the Xbox 360 is a wired Xbox 360 controller, and not connected by a separate cable like the play and charge cable? If it is the play and charge cable, it will not work on Windows 10, as it only charges the batteries on a PC. If it is a actual
    wired controller, then Windows 10 should detect and then download the drivers if needed.
